Egdon Easy 10k

19:00 Sat 24 May 2025 - Weymouth College DT4 7LQ

The Egdon Easy is a flat 10km race which is mostly on the paths and cycle ways around Weymouth's Lodmoor Nature Reserve and Country Park, open to all runners aged 15 (on race day) and above.

Weymouth College is the venue for registration, start and finish where there are facilities for changing, showering and refreshments.

Parking is available in the College Gym carpark (currently free), otherwise Lodmoor Carpark (Pay & Display) is only a 2 minute walk from Race HQ (free from 18:00).

It will be possible to enter at the event, on the day.

It is possible to enter the race at registration but please arrive early to allow time for this. It will be busy!

Prizes in all categories: Junior (<19), Senior (<40) and Veteran (40+, 50+, 60+, 70+). Male and Female.

Technical T shirt (if selected at entry) and Bespoke medal for first 300 entries (ie. while stocks last!).

"Really well organised race, good course. Bit twisty in places, but good! The wind was a nightmare along the front!! Glad I made the journey!! The gate at the start being locked didn't cause a problem in the end. Good race, hope to be back next year!"

"This is a pretty flat race over varying terrain. The marshals were without exception friendly and encouraging. Definitely a good one for first timers as there was no 'elitism' at all, even though there were some very good runners there! The free tee shirt was a nice touch due to the fact that it was a breathable one which could certainly be used for running in again. Top marks to Egdon Heath Harriers!"

"Very pleasant course, good t-shirt, nice cake - didn't do a PB, but that was probably more down to me than the course - did get a bit lonely on the middle stretches of the race (my 10Ks are usually 1hr 2mins, so not the fastest!). Plenty of marshals with encouragement so no chance of getting lost. Would do it again (and train harder!)"
