Trail shoes
Looking to buy a decent pair of trail shoes, any suggestions/recommendations, or ones to avoid? I normally wear Mizuno running shoes, but not sure if their trail shoes are any good. The more reviews I read, the more confused I am (and that's not difficult!) Any advice/suggestions?Undecided

RE: Trail shoes
Quite a few club members use Solomon speedcross 3, comfortable and grippy in the mud, well worth a try Karen.

RE: Trail shoes
Yep Speedcross 2 and 3 are excellent. I've used nothing else for 5 years. You must get them 1/2 size bigger, and get the standard ones, don't bother with Gore Tex as it's ineffective for any puddle more than ankle-deep and I found not as flexible.

RE: Trail shoes
They are waterproof but managed to avoid the deep puddles on the first outing, but they are mud collectors and get heavy quick and the laces system is a challenge Big Grin
